Manager, Cross Border Solutioning for Visa Direct in the Asia Pacific region. This role focuses on product commercialization, client solutioning, and go-to-market launches for cross-border payment services, enabling fund transfers globally. Responsibilities include consulting with clients, supporting sales, providing business and technical solutions for new use-cases, and collaborating with various internal stakeholders. The role requires experience in payments, cross-border product development, and understanding of payment flows and APIs.

What you'd actually do

  1. Consult with clients, partners and prospects to design solutions that accelerate adoption of Visa Direct
  2. Support segment and sales leads for Cross Border, to sell Visa Direct products to banks, remittance platforms, digital partners, etc.
  3. Provide business and technical solutions for new use-cases penetrating target markets, by assessing market/client/prospect needs, reviewing ecosystem readiness, collaboration with regional, global, and cross-border product and commercialization teams
  4. Enable solutions by working with cross-functional stakeholders including Legal, Finance, Client Services and Implementations (CS), Risk, Compliance, AML, and other product teams across Visa
  5. As product and industry SME, support client’s go-to-market launches with advisory for end-to-end solutioning such as digital user journeys, treasury and back-office and launch strategy

Skills

Required

  • Minimum 8 years of work experience in payments, banking or payment processing, having performed product management, or solutioning roles.
  • Hands‑on experience in developing cross‑border payment products or solutions, ideally within the Asia Pacific region (e.g. personal remittances, corporate payouts, treasury or mass disbursement use cases)
  • Good technical aptitude with a practical understanding of cross‑border payment flows, including funding, FX, settlement and regulatory considerations.
  • Working knowledge of API & service oriented architecture (deep engineering expertise not required)
  • Skilled at client conversations and can clearly articulate technical solutions
  • Ability to explain complex business and technical concepts to broad audiences in an approachable way
  • Organizational and leadership abilities to influence, negotiate and drive results
  • Embrace change and ambiguity in an ecosystem that is rapidly evolving
