Manager- Digital Program Lead (dpl)

This role is for a Digital Program Lead at RTX, focusing on leading digital transformation initiatives within the Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS) Strategic Business Unit. The DPL will own the roadmap and execution of the Digital Technology (DT) scope to support program work environment needs, acting as a strategic business partner and escalation point. Responsibilities include developing DT roadmaps, leading cross-functional teams, managing metrics and financials, and overseeing DT personnel and resources. A Secret security clearance is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Serve as DT touchpoint for SBU Leadership, Program Management, and SSBU Directors, acting as a strategic partner and escalation point for digital transformation initiatives.
  2. Develop and execute a strategic DT roadmap focused on streamlining opportunities and managing scope, cost, and schedule performance.
  3. Lead cross-functional collaboration and root cause analysis to solve complex DT program challenges.
  4. Manage key performance metrics, financials, EVMS, and staffing, providing regular status reports and operations reviews.
  5. Partner with engineering and proposal teams to capture requirements, create executable plans, and ensure effective program support across functions.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, MIS, Engineering, Math, STEM degree and minimum of 8 years of directly related experience or a master’s degree and 5 years of directly related experience
  • Secret security clearance

  • Overall Information Technology, Software/Systems Engineering, and/or Program Management experience
