UEV Distribution Optimization, is responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving the end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Order-to-Delivery (O2D) lifecycles for Ford’s Universal Electric Vehicle Platform (UEV). This role acts as the primary operations liaison across Finance, Marketing, Manufacturing, Operations, and Planning to ensure operational efficiency, financial accuracy, and a seamless customer experience. The successful candidate will manage complex statistical models for incentive and marketing spend, resolve operational bottlenecks, and translate data into actionable strategies for senior leadership. By establishing structure and governance in a fast-paced environment, this individual will support cross-functional alignment and optimize profitability throughout the vehicle delivery lifecycle.
What You’ll Do…
- End-to-End Process Ownership: Design, implement, and continuously optimize the Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Order-to-Delivery (O2D) processes for the UEV program to ensure operational efficiency, financial accuracy, and a seamless customer experience.
- Decision Modeling and Profit Optimization: Structure and maintain end-to-end models and decision frameworks using LP/MILP or similar techniques to link demand, supply, cost, and pricing to optimize for Enterprise profitability. Example - tracking models for UEV incentive and marketing spend, proactively analyzing data to optimize budget allocation
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Serve as a strategic liaison across key business units—including Program Planning, C&I, Yield Management, Marketing, and Order Fulfillment—to ensure tight alignment and seamless execution of program objectives.
- Performance Reporting & Strategy: Facilitate regular cross-functional reviews, leveraging spending models and operational data to provide leadership with actionable insights regarding yield optimization, sales performance, and marketing effectiveness.
- Scenario Analyses - Build scenario plans to manage supply disruptions, manufacturing sequencing, Product Mix performance etc.
You’ll have…
- Education: BS in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering and 6+ years relevant experience.
- Modeling: Experience building E2E supply chain models using tools such as Kinaxis or Coupa; proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Leadership: Proven ability to influence senior leadership and align cross-functional teams (Finance, Marketing, Ops).
- Industry: Expertise in Automotive/EV, Omnichannel sales, or digital product delivery.
- Soft Skills: Strong executive presentation skills and the ability to create structure in ambiguous environments.
Even better, you may have...
- Experience with Order-to-Cash/Delivery lifecycles and large-scale financial models.
- MBA/Master’s preferred.
- Familiarity with AI-native platforms like o9, Blue Yonder, or Anaplan.
