Skills

Required

  • STEM Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of experience, Master's degree with 6 years of experience, or Ph.D. with 4 years of experience
  • US Citizenship
  • Active/current DoD Secret clearance
  • 3 years of experience as a Software Engineering/Development Team Leader
  • Prior experience leading a software development team
  • 2 years identifying risks, suggesting mitigation, tracking defects, developing resolutions, and reporting status
  • Working knowledge of software architecture and open standards in use by the defense industry
  • Strong communication and people leadership skills

Nice to have

  • Prior experience within an IPT lead role
  • Prior CAM (Cost Account Management) experience
  • Working knowledge of Linux or VxWorks operating systems
  • Management of budget for technical activities
  • Experience with SonarQube and/or KlocWork tools
  • Experience with Gitlab
  • Experience with the Atlassian tool set, Jenkins, and DevSecOps best practices
  • Experience generating proposals and estimates inputs for new work
  • Prior software functional management experience (executing performance appraisals, staffing allocations, software process leadership, and career goals development)
