Manager, Employee Communications

Salesforce Salesforce · Enterprise · Indianapolis, IN +3

This role is for a Manager of Employee Communications at Salesforce, a company that positions itself as the #1 AI CRM. The primary focus is on planning and executing internal communications for employee programs, partnering with stakeholders, and writing/editing content. While the role mentions leveraging AI tools for content production and personalization, and the company heavily emphasizes AI in its branding and product, the core responsibilities do not involve building, researching, or directly shipping AI/ML models or systems. The role is more about using AI tools as an end-user to enhance communication efforts within an AI-focused company.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own end-to-end communications planning and execution for assigned programmatic areas, including but not limited to ES initiatives (Open Enrollment, Comp/Merit, Benefits, Learning & Development) and Finance (Payroll, Travel & Entertainment) programs
  2. Partner with program owners to develop communication strategies that are clear, human, and drive employee action — not just awareness
  3. Build and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders across Employee Success, Finance, and other program areas — serving as their go-to communications partner and strategic advisor
  4. Write and edit sharp content and lead channel strategy decisions for assigned programs — spanning Slack messages, email, agent nudges, manager cascade materials, and more
  5. Establish and uphold communications standards and best practices across programmatic comms, ensuring consistency in voice, channel strategy, and execution quality
