What you'd actually do

  1. Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of engineers (Junior to Lead levels) focused on MuleSoft integration and backend services
  2. Foster a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and inclusivity
  3. Collaborate with Product Management and other engineering leaders to define the technical roadmap, prioritize projects, and ensure alignment with business goals
  4. Provide technical guidance and oversight on architecture and design decisions
  5. Ensure the team builds scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions using MuleSoft, Java, and cloud-native technologies

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering
  • strong background in backend development (Java/Spring)
  • enterprise integration (MuleSoft/iPaaS)
  • 3+ years of experience managing or leading engineering teams
  • Proven track record of delivering complex software projects on time and within budget
  • Strong understanding of modern software architecture (Microservices, API-led connectivity, Cloud-native)
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
  • project management tools (Jira, Servicenow)
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Nice to have

  • Experience managing teams working with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
