Manager of Facilities Engineering responsible for the maintenance and operation of facilities and infrastructure in a manufacturing plant, ensuring functionality, safety, and sustainability while managing budgets and supporting business objectives.

What you'd actually do

  1. Collaborate closely with engineers, business partners, and suppliers to achieve organizational goals, emphasizing sustainable facility usage and adherence to budget requirements.
  2. Build and lead a high-performing facility maintenance team, designing and delivering training programs to ensure consistent, high-quality work.
  3. Assess the effectiveness of current utilities, equipment, and processes, providing innovative solutions to operational challenges and risks.
  4. Direct inspection, repair, and continuous improvement activities for all facilities, ensuring compliance with operational standards and maintaining order and safety throughout the site.
  5. Monitor environmental, safety, and equipment requirements, and participate in contingency and recovery planning.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
