What you'd actually do

  1. Hire, train, and nurture a team of Solutions Architects to foster a culture of excellence and innovation.
  2. Empower your team to navigate technical complexities, identify key use cases, and build compelling proofs of concept.
  3. Drive the activation of new customers by guiding the Solutions Architect team in qualifying use cases, building customer trust, and navigating complex enterprise deals from discovery to close.
  4. Ensure customer success by helping them succeed with Databricks solutions and delivering outsized value to their businesses.
  5. Foster strong relationships across the business landscape, collaborating with partners, sales, and go-to-market teams to maximize customer and team success.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years in the data space with a technical product, such as data warehousing, big data, or machine learning.
  • 2+ years of experience leading technical teams, preferably in a pre-sales organization, activating new customers, and exceeding annual quotas.
  • Proven experience as a trusted advisor to technical executives, guiding strategic data infrastructure decisions.
  • Track record of hiring, training, and promoting qualified candidates for success within the organization.
  • Ability to create positive morale within the team and foster effective working relationships with Field Engineering, Sales, and other internal partners.
