This role is a Manager, Global Enterprise Communications for Capital One's Commercial Banking division. What you'd actually do

  1. Partner with team leads to execute external communications campaigns that align with enterprise and line-of-business objectives
  2. Lead communications planning and execution for the Commercial Real Estate and New Markets Tax Credits lines-of-business within the Commercial Bank, with the potential to participate in more sectors of the Commercial Bank
  3. Manage concurrent and effective communications tactics including: executive visibility initiatives, ‘always on’ media relations, sponsored content and social media
  4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders including investor relations, commercial bankers, public affairs, risk and corporate reputation colleagues, as well as external stakeholders including agency partners to ensure seamless implementation of communications strategies
  5. Communicate, collaborate and provide communications counsel to senior banking executives

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or military experience
  • 5 years of communications experience
  • 3 years of experience in the financial services industry

Nice to have

  • Public relations or communications experience in commercial banking, commercial real estate, capital markets, or B2B technology
  • 2 years of experience supporting, partnering and interacting with external stakeholders
  • 2 years of developing and executing thought leadership campaigns for external audiences
