What you'd actually do

  1. Initiates and facilitates competitive bids, request for quotes (RFQs), negotiations, and resourcing activities to provide vendor matrix options that drive category growth, flexibility, speed to market and profitability.
  2. Develops and distributes financial models and reports to monitor and improve profitability and mitigate financial risk.
  3. Provides guidance on financial goals to cross-functional team members and others at start of new product development cycles.
  4. Develops and provides options on product costs to product development and design staff, and merchandising staff.
  5. Develops short- and long-term production and financial plans to support strategic business goals.

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
  • 3 years of progressive work experience in global sourcing or sourcing related roles
