Manager, Gtm Strategy/operations

Datadog Datadog · Enterprise · New York, NY · Sales Strategy

Manager, GTM Strategy/Operations role at Datadog, focusing on Channels and Alliances. This role involves strategic planning, improving business efficiency, supporting data-driven decision-making, and leading global transformation programs. The candidate will act as a trusted advisor to leadership, design strategic plans, and drive initiatives to adoption. While the company uses AI, this role is not directly building or shipping AI models or systems, but rather leveraging AI as a tool for operational efficiency.

What you'd actually do

  1. Act as the primary point of contact for the range of strategic and operational questions facing our C&A leadership globally. Drive thinking in key business areas as a trusted advisor to leadership.
  2. Work with your team to develop strategic plans for our C&A groups, both short-term and long-term, including capacity planning and incentive/KPI setting.
  3. Design, launch and lead global transformation programs and deliver improvements to our operating model; own the success of outcomes and progress reporting to leadership alongside your team.
  4. Take a hands on approach to problem solving and execution: continuously pivot from big-picture strategic planning to tactical implementation, and drive initiatives through to adoption and impact. You're equally comfortable designing a strategy and rolling up your sleeves to get it live.
  5. Provide hands-on coaching to individual contributors on your team on analyses, dashboards, and presentations related to improving and running our business. Unblock them as needed.
