Manager, HRBP for Global Payment Network to deliver on people initiatives and talent strategy. Requires strong relationship building, influencing, communication, and problem-solving skills. Will consult with clients, other HRBPs, and HR partner groups on people strategy, HR processes, and reporting. Will partner with clients to build effective relationships, manage stakeholders, and understand business imperatives. Will consult with associates, managers, and HR partners on HR-related issues. Will coach people managers on leadership skills, org design, and performance concerns. Responsible for strategic consulting and workforce planning, and delivering an HR strategy aligned with business needs. Will support planning and delivery of core HR processes including performance & talent management, leadership development, change management, and organizational design. Will support senior leaders on building inclusive and diverse teams, creating a culture of belonging, and acting as a sounding board for associates.

What you'd actually do

  1. Consult with clients, other HRBPs, and HR partner groups (people analytics, recruiting, compensation, tech talent, AR, diversity & inclusion) to effectively execute on people strategy, HR processes, and reporting
  2. Partner with clients to build effective relationships, effectively manage stakeholders, and understand business imperatives to effectively execute on HR solutions that are aligned to the business needs
  3. Consult with associates, managers, and HR partners who require assistance on HR-related issues
  4. Coach people managers on situations including general leadership skills (leveraging Capital One’s Include/Empower/Inspire framework), org design, performance concerns
  5. Responsible for providing strategic consulting and workforce planning to client groups within [client group] and delivering an HR strategy that is aligned with the business needs

  • 5+ years of client facing experience or 5+ years of consulting experience or a combination
  • 4+ years of experience in in Human Resources or Human Capital Consulting
