What you'd actually do

  1. Ensuring that Canva meets all its indirect tax compliance obligations in the US, including sales and use, gross receipts, commercial activity and business personal property taxes
  2. Delivering global accounting and reporting of indirect taxes for financial statement purposes, including reconciling and supporting any provision balances
  3. Collaborating with other teams to attend to all month / quarter / year end reporting obligations in a time-sensitive environment
  4. Establishing and driving and continuous improvement of internal controls, including preparing process documentation to support audit and public company readiness
  5. State and local indirect tax audit and voluntary disclosure management, including coordinating with external advisors when appropriate
