Manager Industrial Security 2 at Northrop Grumman responsible for developing and administering security programs for classified materials, documents, and equipment. What you'd actually do

  1. Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations.
  2. Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies.
  3. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials.
  4. Develops and implements security education program.
  5. Oversees internal security audits.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 6+ years of experience in Security within the Aircraft, Aerospace, Manufacturing Industries or Military related experience OR Master’s Degree AND 4+ years of experience in Security within the Aircraft, Aerospace, Manufacturing Industries or Military related experience OR High School Diploma AND 10+ years of experience in Security within the Aircraft, Aerospace, Manufacturing Industries or Military related experience
  • Minimum of 2 Years of management, supervisor, or other demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Must have an Active DoD Secret Clearance that is in-scope Granted or renewed in the last 5 years and the ability to obtain special program access.

  • Knowledge and familiarity with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), as well as DoD Manuals, and other US Government security manuals.
  • Ability to execute Security and Program Management concepts.
  • Experience managing multiple function teams across the program enterprise.
  • Excellent communication, writing and organization skills, enabling effective communications with team members, fellow employees and government officials.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with minimal oversight.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to interact with internal/external customers.
