As the Manager, Industry & Sales Planning - US, you will be at the center of Ford’s North American operations. You will serve as the primary architect for US industry segmentation and Ford/Lincoln market share objectives. This is a high-visibility role that bridges the gap between market demand and manufacturing supply, providing the critical nameplate demand inputs that drive our production requirements. You will influence how Ford navigates a complex competitive landscape to ensure we are delivering the right vehicles to the right markets at the right time.
What you'll do...
Strategic Forecasting & Market Analysis
- Industry Consensus Leadership: Lead the monthly U.S. industry consensus process, synthesizing cross-functional inputs from Corporate Economics, Finance, and MSS leadership to build a unified market view.
- Segmentation Strategy: Manage the U.S. retail sales and segmentation forecast, collaborating closely with Consumer Marketing and Field Operations to anticipate market shifts.
- Ad-Hoc Business Intelligence: Perform deep-dive analytical assessments of the business environment to provide actionable insights during periods of market volatility or shifting consumer trends.
Operational Execution & Systems Management
- Demand Planning: Translate market share objectives into critical nameplate demand inputs, ensuring production supply requirements are aligned with consumer demand.
- Systems Mastery: Maintain and optimize the U.S. industry, segmentation, and sales forecasts within SPCPS (Kinaxis Rapid Response), ensuring data integrity and planning agility.
- Objective Setting: Publish and manage monthly U.S. dealer sales objectives, ensuring alignment between corporate goals and dealer network capacity.
Executive Collaboration & Leadership
- Leadership Influence: Lead monthly sales and share reviews with MSS (Marketing, Sales & Service) leadership, presenting data-driven recommendations that shape North American strategy.
- Cross-Functional Synergy: Build strong relationships and negotiate effectively across Finance, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to drive consensus in the S&OP process.
- Continuous Improvement: Embody a "find a way" attitude, using incomplete data to develop strategic plans and fostering a culture of process discipline and innovation aligned with Ford+ behaviors.
You'll have...
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
- 8+ years of professional experience in automotive operations, supply chain, finance or large-scale logistics.

This position is leadership level 6 and ranges from $112,680-212,760.
Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
