Robinhood is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead their Insider Threat team. This role involves protecting, detecting, and responding to internal threats to Robinhood data and systems, investigating misuse of access, and building detection capabilities. The manager will lead a team of security engineers and analysts, set technical direction, provide expertise in threat hunting and incident response, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The role requires 3+ years of engineering management experience and 6+ years in the insider threat/abuse domain.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead a team of security engineers and analysts to develop solutions to hunt, detect, and respond to internal threats
  2. Work with technical leads to set the direction for infrastructure, process, and standards
  3. Provide technical expertise and leadership in threat hunting, incident response, forensics, security analysis, and security engineering
  4. Build, cultivate and maintain positive relationships with internal customers to identify and facilitate solutions to increase the impact of the team's work
  5. Work with cross-functional business, product, analytics, and engineering leaders to negotiate, plan, and execute on a roadmap for the Insider Threat team
