What you'd actually do

  1. Lead U.S. international tax planning (including a small team) and structuring initiatives, including M&A transactions, cross-border investments, expansion into new jurisdictions, and OECD Pillar Two readiness
  2. Own U.S. international tax provision calculations under ASC 740, including GILTI, Subpart F, foreign tax credits, and related international components of quarterly and annual reporting
  3. Lead U.S. international tax compliance and information reporting (e.g., Forms 5471, 8858, 8991–8993, 1118), partnering with external advisors to ensure accurate and timely filings
  4. Be responsible for intercompany transactions and global transfer pricing policies to support compliance and operational efficiency
  5. Monitor global tax legislative developments, model potential impacts, and communicate recommendations to finance leadership and cross-functional partners

Skills

Required

  • 6+ years of U.S. international tax experience
  • Big 4 and/or in-house experience at a multinational company
  • Demonstrated experience applying ASC 740 and U.S. international tax rules (e.g., GILTI, Subpart F, foreign tax credits, transfer pricing) in a multinational environment
  • Experience preparing or reviewing U.S. international information returns, including Forms 5471 and 8858
  • Experience preparing or reviewing international components of quarterly and annual tax provisions

Nice to have

  • Experience with OECD Pillar Two modeling, readiness, or implementation
  • Experience in a SaaS, technology, or high-growth company
  • Public company experience
  • Master’s in Taxation, CPA license, JD, or LLM
