The Manager, Material Handling Equipment Service leads vendor and contract management activities to ensure operational excellence and equipment efficiency across Walmart facilities. We prioritize eliminating premature and frequent equipment failures to ensure operational excellence. By leveraging vendor and contract management, procurement, and budgeting expertise, the team drives continuous improvement and equipment efficiency. Collaborating across functions, we implement best practices and maintain high standards to support Walmart’s business goals while fostering a culture of reliability and performance in equipment service management.
What you'll do...
- Manage vendor relationships by evaluating performance, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and contractual obligations.
- Oversee contract administration, ensuring adherence to organizational protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Lead procurement activities, utilizing approved systems and following established procedures to acquire services, materials, and equipment.
- Develop and manage budgets, analyze variances, and prepare expense reports to support operational goals.
- Drive operational excellence by identifying safety hazards, implementing standard procedures, and promoting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Utilize data analysis tools to monitor equipment performance and support decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address business challenges and implement effective solutions.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience in vendor and contract management, including evaluating performance and ensuring compliance with agreements and regulations.
- Strong procurement knowledge with the ability to manage purchase processes and supplier relationships effectively.
- Expertise in budgeting, expense management, and variance analysis using preferred financial tools.
- Demonstrated commitment to operational excellence, safety, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Ability to analyze data, generate insights, and apply continuous improvement methodologies to enhance equipment efficiency and maintenance.
- Skilled in negotiation, crisis management, and change management to support business objectives.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
