Manager Medical Writer role in the Scientific Communications team, supporting the Immunology therapeutic area. Responsibilities include leading the writing, editing, and revising of publications (manuscripts, abstracts, posters, presentations) based on clinical and observational study data. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders, managing publication timelines, interpreting data, conducting literature reviews, and ensuring adherence to publication guidelines.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead writing, editing, and revising manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and/or presentations.
  2. Collaborate with Johnson & Johnson US and global stakeholders, authors, and steering committee members throughout the publication development process.
  3. Manage document development timelines to facilitate timely submission.
  4. Facilitate, collate, and adjudicate author and reviewer comments.
  5. Review and interpret data and source documents for information required for publication development.

Skills

Required

  • Publication writing experience
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience
  • Ability to learn new concepts and recognize how to best interpret, summarize, and present statistical and medical information
  • Strong attention to detail

  • Familiarity with relevant publication, industry best practices and publication guidelines

Nice to have
