Manager, NA Trade Lead for DePuy Synthes, a Johnson & Johnson company, responsible for leading trade marketing strategy and execution across North America to accelerate commercial growth and strengthen channel partner engagement. This role bridges Sales and Marketing, translating brand strategies into effective trade programs that drive demand, improve execution at the channel level, and enhance customer experience. The role involves leading a team of trade marketing professionals, partnering with cross-functional teams, overseeing trade marketing plans targeting distributors and channel partners, and managing budgets.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead the development and execution of North America trade marketing strategies aligned to brand and commercial objectives.
  2. Manage and develop a team of trade marketing professionals, providing coaching, performance management, and career development.
  3. Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and other cross‑functional teams to translate brand strategies into effective trade programs.
  4. Oversee trade marketing plans targeting distributors and channel partners, including promotions, incentives, and in‑market programs.
  5. Allocate resources and manage budgets to ensure timely delivery of high‑quality trade marketing initiatives.

Skills

Required

  • 7–10 years of progressive experience in trade marketing, marketing, or commercial roles
  • Prior people leadership experience
  • Experience developing and executing trade programs for distributors or channel partners
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives, timelines, and budgets in a fast‑paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Marketing, or related field preferred)

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting North America or regional commercial organizations
  • Background in orthopedic, MedTech, or life sciences industries
  • Experience driving process improvements and standardization across regions or markets
  • Familiarity with trade spend management and performance measurement
