Manager of Compensation

Verkada is seeking a Manager of Compensation to build out the compensation function and evolve the company's compensation philosophy. This role will partner with various teams to ensure competitive compensation packages, build tools for compensation workflows, and provide reporting to executives. The ideal candidate has experience in compensation within high-growth technology companies and strong analytical and influencing skills.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own and refine Verkada’s global compensation strategy as well as develop and document compensation guidelines, policies and ongoing training programs.
  2. Review and analyze market data to evaluate our current compensation program and ensure our offering (cash, equity and benefits) remain competitive as we continue to scale and as the market changes.
  3. Partner with Finance, People Partners, Recruiters, Hiring Managers, and Executives on pay decisions, compensation process & policies and job evaluation.
  4. Build tools and processes to streamline all compensation workflows, from job posting to internal approvals to merit cycles and ongoing equity refresh programs.
  5. Assist in developing and tracking critical compensation reporting metrics for the Executive team and board of directors

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree from a top university
