Manager of Infrastructure Engineering -ai Threat Remediation & Perimeter Resilience

JPMorgan Chase JPMorgan Chase · Banking · Singapore · Corporate Sector

Manager of Infrastructure Engineering focused on AI Threat Remediation & Perimeter Resilience in the APAC region for JPMorgan Chase. The role involves leading teams to strengthen perimeter defenses against AI-enabled threats, defining standards, and ensuring compliance with regional and global governance. It also includes leading the safe adoption of enterprise AI tools to improve engineering workflows.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own the APAC perimeter and external connectivity engineering roadmap, including intake, prioritization, dependency management, delivery execution, and stakeholder alignment across regional operations, cybersecurity, and platform and application teams.
  2. Leads team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to improve delivery speed and quality (e.g., accelerating issue analysis and documentation), with human-in-the-loop validation and appropriate handling of sensitive data.
  3. Define, implement, and operationalize perimeter standards, reference architectures, and reusable engineering patterns that harden edge connectivity against AI-enabled threats across Cisco and Arista edge environments, interconnect and colocation ecosystems (including Equinix Fabric), and cloud adjacency designs (including AWS Direct Connect and AWS PrivateLink), with multi-cloud awareness.
  4. Establish and run governance mechanisms that accelerate remediation while preserving strong controls, including backlog management, exception handling, risk acceptance and closure processes, auditability and traceability requirements, and measurable reporting tied to resilience and risk reduction.
  5. Execute APAC risk, controls, and regulatory deliverables aligned to global governance, including control implementation, evidence quality, audit readiness, timely remediation commitments, and management of regional constraints such as data residency and cross-border connectivity patterns.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or related disciplines.
  • 5+ years of experience leading infrastructure and/or security engineering initiatives in a regulated environment, with demonstrated accountability for delivering outcomes through a matrixed organization.
  • Demonstrated experience operating and delivering infrastructure and/or security programs in APAC, including cross-functional coordination across time zones and regional stakeholders, and ownership of regional execution outcomes.
  • Experience leading teams in the safe use of enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment for infrastructure engineering workflows, including validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.
  • Ability to review and validate AI-assisted recommendations before adoption, escalating uncertainty and ensuring outcomes align to resiliency, security, and auditability expectations.
  • Strong knowledge of network and perimeter security architecture and controls, including segmentation, routing policy considerations, encryption and access control patterns, and defense-in-depth design principles.
  • Strong experience translating security requirements into deployable edge and external connectivity patterns, including Cisco and Arista environments.
  • Working knowledge of interconnect and colocation connectivity models, including Equinix Fabric, and cloud adjacency patterns including AWS Direct Connect and AWS PrivateLink, with the ability to design for operational and control requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience engaging with regional risk, compliance, and audit expectations, including evidence production, control testing support, remediation commitments, and exception management aligned to global governance.
  • Demonstrated operational discipline across incident, change, and problem management, with the ability to drive improvements in stability, change success, and MTTR.
  • Executive-level communication skills, including the ability to influence decision-making, drive prioritization, and communicate risk and trade-offs to senior stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • APAC perimeter & external connectivity design/ops (data residency, cross-border) aligned to global standards; multi-cloud interconnect + hybrid edge architectures.
  • Perimeter resilience for AI-accelerated threats; large-scale external network ops (observability, IR alignment, resilience testing)
