Program Manager role focused on managing contract manufacturing operations for Google's data center infrastructure hardware, including logistics, material, and delivery KPIs. This role involves cross-functional coordination with NPI, engineering, supply chain, quality, and production teams, as well as evaluating business risks and improving performance indicators.

What you'd actually do

  1. Be responsible for a region of contract manufacturing operations for Google's data center infrastructure hardware portfolio in relation to google cloud, storage, compute, machine learning, and network technology
  2. Manage cross-functional activities between contract manufacturers, NPI, engineering, supply chain, planning, quality and production
  3. Evaluate business risks and improve key performance indicators (KPI) to enable flexible capacity for the customer's needs.
  4. Provide mentoring and feedback to CM management team based on KPI and field quality feedback.
  5. Reduce complexity and improve communications between cross-functional teams and platforms by establishing key ownership and identifying role and responsibility gaps.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in a customer or client-facing role supporting supply chain systems.
  • 10 years of experience working in domestic and international environments.
  • 7 years of experience managing operations and leading cross-regional teams.

Nice to have

  • 10 years of experience in managing vendor and outsourced providers.
  • 10 years of experience in scaled and supplier operations and project management.
  • Experience to deliver results through cross-functional interaction with internal and external teams.
  • Ability to influence cross-functionally with strong communication and negotiation skills.
