What you'd actually do

  1. Manage, coach, and develop a team of Strategic Partner Managers to grow and deepen relationships with priority local merchant partners across the region.
  2. Partner closely with Merchant Operations, Product, Engineering, Marketing, Analytics, and Sales to improve the end-to-end merchant experience and deliver against regional revenue and growth targets.
  3. Collaborate with Merchant Operations to define and execute a “winning with the merchant” operating strategy tailored to your region.
  4. Act as the regional point of contact for new product launches and investments, identifying opportunities to expand adoption of offerings such as Drive and DoorDash for Business.
  5. Build and leverage models to assess the economic and strategic impact of merchant acquisition, engagement, and retention initiatives. Forecast performance and evaluate progress against OKRs for your book of business.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of experience in account management, sales, business development, or a related field
  • 1+ years of experience managing, coaching, and developing account managers or similar client-facing roles
  • Strong experience leading teams in an outside or field-based model
  • Proven ability to build and maintain senior-level merchant relationships
  • Demonstrated success partnering cross-functionally to deliver outcomes
  • Comfort using data and insights to set goals, prioritize initiatives, and assess performance
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the region
