This role is focused on supporting Databricks' partner ecosystem by driving operational scale and GTM strategy for the APJ Partnerships team. The Manager will combine analytical insight, business acumen, and cross-functional partnerships to set strategy, lead execution, build scalable processes, and provide data-driven insights. Responsibilities include creating OKRs, reporting, forecasting, SQL analytics, BI reporting, territory planning, quota modeling, conducting ROI analysis, and staying updated on industry trends. The ideal candidate is technical, proficient in SQL analytics, BI reporting, and Salesforce, excels in collaboration, has a bias for action, and possesses strong communication skills with 7+ years of experience in sales strategy, business development, or channel management, including experience with partner sales and field engineering teams at an enterprise technology company.

What you'd actually do

  1. Make the leaders of the APJ partnerships team more efficient and effective through a data driven approach to decision making
  2. Create quarterly and annual OKRs, reporting, forecasting, SQL analytics, BI reporting and dashboard development, territory planning, and quota/productivity modeling
  3. Support and run pipeline/forecast calls, team calls and quarterly business reviews
  4. Conduct ROI analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of incentive programs and partner initiatives, making data-driven recommendations for improvement
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes across APJ markets, providing insights to enhance sales strategies and maintain a competitive advantage
