Manager for Post Go-live Readiness in healthcare IT, overseeing multiple projects, cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, and on budget. Focuses on transition readiness, stakeholder management, and implementing enterprise standards.

What you'd actually do

  1. Oversee Transition Readiness project management and scope execution.
  2. Manage communication and relationships between the VA and Oracle Health Readiness Team.
  3. Coordinate enterprise and team meetings
  4. Serve as final delivery owner for MPR/MPM.
  5. Track all Readiness timelines, risks, and deliverables for reporting and IMS updates.

Skills

Required

  • 6+ years of experience in healthcare IT, clinical informatics, EHR implementation, transition readiness, and/or post-go-live optimization.
  • At least 2+ years of indirect management/leadership experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity, adjust priorities, and drive initiatives

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in health informatics, public health, business administration (MBA), or project management.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Health/Cerner solutions and familiarity with core applications/workflows (design/build/implementation/troubleshooting/optimization).
  • Familiarity with project tracking and collaboration tools (Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence).
  • PMP, CPHIMS, Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt+), and/or change management certification (e.g., Prosci).
  • Prior VA or large healthcare system experience.
  • Stakeholder engagement and collaborative problem-solving across technical, clinical, and operational teams.
  • Strong delivery management across multiple sites (timelines, risks, deliverables, reporting).
  • Attention to detail and quality control for client-ready deliverables.
  • Comfortable operating in dynamic environments and fostering a culture of change and adaptability.
