Product and Solutions Manager for Visa's Core Consumer Product platforms in Southern & East Africa and West & Central Africa. Focuses on strategic planning, product management, market analysis, sales, and customer engagement for card payment products, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market needs. Responsibilities include developing product strategy, managing value propositions, analyzing markets, collaborating cross-functionally, tracking performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving sales of VAS (Value Added Services).

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop and refine the strategy for Visa’s Core Consumer Product platforms, including identifying new product opportunities, features, and enhancements based on market trends, competitive analysis, and regulatory changes.
  2. Design, develop and manage compelling value propositions that meet the needs of target customers, differentiate the product in the market, and align with the brand.
  3. Conduct ongoing analysis of the market and competitors to understand emerging trends, opportunities, and threats. Use insights to inform product strategy and positioning.
  4. Work closely with teams across the organization, including but not limited to the hub Product owners, Finance, Pricing & Interchange, Marketing, Solutions Delivery, Business Development, etc., to ensure the successful development, launch and support of card payment products.
  5. Monitor product performance against key metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to drive sales, growth, and customer satisfaction.
