Rubrik Rubrik · Enterprise · Bangalore, India · Product

Manager, Product Design role at Rubrik, focusing on user experience for enterprise AI and data security products. The role involves leading a design team, defining strategic vision, championing design excellence, driving operational efficiency, evangelizing design culture, and deepening customer-centricity. The company is in a growth phase post-IPO, emphasizing securing and accelerating AI transformation.

What you'd actually do

  1. Recruit, mentor, and retain a world-class team of designers. You’ll be responsible for their career growth, providing coaching on both craft and navigational "soft" skills to help them scale their impact.
  2. Partner with VP and Director-level leadership in Product Management and Engineering to define the long-term roadmap. You’ll transform high-level business goals into actionable design strategies that balance immediate needs with a "North Star" vision.
  3. Ensure all team deliverables meet the highest standards of craft, usability, and visual consistency across the product.
  4. Establish and refine design processes that allow the team to move fast without breaking the user experience. You will oversee the end-to-end execution of complex product areas, ensuring a high bar for quality and consistency.
  5. Act as a primary advocate for Design across Rubrik. You’ll bridge the gap between technical complexity (cybersecurity, AI, infra) and consumer-grade usability, ensuring that "Design" is seen as a business differentiator, not just a service.
