What you'd actually do

  1. Lead and manage product stewardship and EPR regulatory activities to ensure compliance with applicable global, regional, and local regulations.
  2. Interpret and apply environmental, product stewardship, and sustainability‑related regulatory requirements to products and operations.
  3. Serve as a subject‑matter expert on EPR obligations, including reporting, registrations, and compliance documentation.
  4. Partner with cross‑functional teams (Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Supply Chain, Legal, Sustainability) to support compliant product lifecycle activities.
  5. Monitor changes in product stewardship and environmental regulations and assess potential business impact.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Regulatory Affairs, Environmental Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related discipline
  • 6-8 years of progressive experience in regulatory affairs, product stewardship, environmental compliance, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of product stewardship, EPR, and environmental regulatory requirements
  • Experience interpreting regulations and applying requirements to product and business decisions
  • Ability to manage complex regulatory topics across multiple stakeholders and functions
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have

  • Advanced degree or professional certification in Regulatory Affairs, Environmental Compliance, or Sustainability
  • Experience supporting global or multi-regional regulatory portfolios
  • Familiarity with sustainability, environmental reporting, or circular economy initiatives
  • Experience working in a multinational or matrixed organization
  • Exposure to regulatory audits or inspections related to environmental or product compliance
  • Demonstrated experience driving regulatory or compliance process improvements
  • RAC, environmental compliance, or sustainability certifications
