What you'd actually do

  1. Leading and directing cross-functional Integrated Program Teams (IPT) to meet program cost, schedule, and technical performance objectives on manufacturing scope.
  2. Identification, distribution, tracking, and completion of program requirements.
  3. Development and adherence to master plans and baseline schedules.
  4. Development and adherence to budget baselines utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) or similar cost & schedule control methodologies and tools.
  5. Conducting thorough risk & opportunity management practices, including identification, mitigation, and realization.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience or master’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience leading people and/or projects.
  • Experience with MS Office products - PowerPoint, Project, Excel, Word.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice to have

  • Master's degree in a STEM field or Management.
  • 5 years of experience in a Project Planning/Program Management environment.
  • 2 years of direct people leadership experience.
  • Earned Value Management experience as a Control Account Manager.
  • PMI certification and/or PMI-based training
  • A current Secret clearance
  • Experience with the following systems and concepts: - MRP and IMS Scheduling - SAP production planning and material management tools, Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, and Manufacturing
  • Experience leading Manufacturing proposal efforts that include labor quoting, schedule and capacity analysis, investment planning, and descriptive writing contributions
  • Experience managing production in SAP in a low-volume, high-mix manufacturing environment.
  • Program execution experience.
  • Experience supporting U.S. Government contracts and customers.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
