Production Solutions connects Netflix’s Production teams, turning innovation into practical workflows so teams can deliver today while confidently evolving for tomorrow. Our mission is to lead the operationalization and scaling of production practices globally through expertise and strong execution. The team operates across Production Operations, Production Technology, and Media Operations to align local needs, regional priorities, and global initiatives.
We’re looking for a Manager, Production Operations to join the LatAm Production Solutions team, based in São Paulo. This role will lead regional initiatives across LatAm, work closely with Content and Production teams, and represent the region in global forums.
You understand how production teams work and how tools and workflows support that work in practice. You are familiar with the realities of production across planning, execution, and delivery, and how information such as schedules, talent, vendors, and technical specifications is managed across teams. You have worked with production stakeholders and understand the challenges they face when adopting new tools and ways of working. You proactively identify opportunities to improve how work gets done and know how to test, refine, and evolve workflows based on real production feedback. You are comfortable making tradeoffs and prioritizing work, using context, judgment, and business impact to guide decisions. You bring structure and clarity to complex, cross-functional work and help teams move it forward. You are a strong communicator who can clearly articulate the “why” behind change and influence new ways of working across both technical and non-technical audiences. You thrive in collaborative environments and are confident leading initiatives end to end.
The ideal candidate has a passion for improving how production teams work and a strong curiosity for how tools and workflows can better support that work. Your ability to translate production needs into practical solutions, communicate the “why” behind change, and influence adoption across teams will be key to success in this role.
Core Responsibilities:
Production Operations Programs
- Lead Production Operations programs that support the regional integration of tools and workflows across productions, including knowledge systems (e.g. production manuals, delivery lists) and minimum data requirements (e.g. dates, talent and vendor tracking, technical specifications)
- Drive end-to-end execution of Production Operations initiatives, ensuring clear alignment on value and outcomes upfront, with defined milestones and tracked progress through delivery
Adoption & Change
- Drive adoption of new tools and ways of working across internal production teams, ensuring they are used effectively in practice
- Communicate clearly and articulate the “why” behind change to support alignment and adoption across stakeholders
Feedback & Continuous Improvement
- Manage the LatAm Studio Delegates program to capture production feedback and inform how tools and workflows evolve
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve how work gets done across productions
Cross-Functional Alignment & Connection
- Manage stakeholders across local Production (Production, Post, VFX) and global Operations teams to ensure alignment and coordination across tool workflows
- Support connecting work across Production Solutions by identifying dependencies and reducing friction across the production lifecycle
- Contribute to bridging global innovation with local production needs by sharing regional insights into global decisions
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience as a Production, Post, VFX, or Project Manager across complex film/TV productions or studio initiatives
- Fluent in Portuguese and English; Spanish strongly preferred
- Strong project Management experience
- Clear and concise communicator with experience presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders across functions
- Experience or strong interest in GenAI and productivity tools, with the ability to apply them to improve workflows and efficiency
- Data-driven and analytical, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to apply sound judgment to make clear, prioritized decisions and navigate trade-offs
- Experience working across regions, with sensitivity to cultural differences and the ability to adapt workflows for different markets
- Affinity with Netflix Culture and a strong desire to champion it within the team and the business.
