Manager of Program Planning responsible for managing a team of analysts, developing and maintaining the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), conducting reviews, and implementing scheduling best practices. Requires a Secret clearance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Manage a team of Program Planning & Scheduling Analysts
  2. Perform mid-year and year-end performance reviews
  3. Develop direct team knowledge and depth
  4. Prepares, develops and coordinates the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to meet all program objectives.
  5. Ensures program schedules are horizontally and vertically integrated.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 7 years of Planning & Scheduling, Program Cost Schedule Control, Finance, Pricing, Program/Project Management, or Engineering experience; OR Master’s degree with 5 years of the same experience
  • Active government Secret clearance (DoD must be in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and program access required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company.
  • Willingness to work on-site full time in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent 2-way communication skills (upward and downward)
  • Knowledge of Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development; Schedule Risk
  • Knowledge in both EV Cost and Schedule Management
  • Assessment (SRA) approach and execution
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees, management, and executive leadership

Nice to have

  • Experience with Microsoft Project Server environment
