Manager of Program Planning responsible for leading a team of analysts, developing and maintaining the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), conducting reviews, and implementing scheduling best practices. The role requires experience in planning, scheduling, finance, or project management, with a strong emphasis on Earned Value Management (EVM) and adherence to industry standards like DCMA 14-point and NDIA EIA-748 guidelines. A Secret clearance is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Manage a team of Program Planning & Scheduling Analysts
  2. Prepares, develops and coordinates the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to meet all program objectives.
  3. Ensures program schedules are horizontally and vertically integrated.
  4. Conducting Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR) and Joint Surveillance Reviews (JSR) audits
  5. Implements scheduling best practices as prescribed by industry to include, but not limited to: DCMA 14-point, IPMR DI-MGMT-81861, NDIA EIA-748 32 Guidelines, Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Critical Path Methodology (CPM), Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA)

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Business and/or STEM (Science, Technology Engineering or Mathematics) discipline and 7 years of Planning & Scheduling, Finance, Pricing, Program/Project Management, or Engineering experience; OR Master’s degree with 5 years of the same experience.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Special Access Programs Clearance prior to start
  • Experience with Microsoft Project Server environment
  • Knowledge of Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development; Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA) approach and execution
  • Experience and knowledge in both EV Cost and Schedule Management
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees, management, and executive leadership
