What you'd actually do

  1. Execute day-to-day operations of the program, ensuring efficient and timely implementation of all aspects of the mission.
  2. Interface between Program Leadership, PMO, and IPTs in support of program objectives, customer expectations, and schedule.
  3. Owner of the Systems Engineering and Program Management (SEPM) control account, managing budget and expenditures for leadership labor, material, and travel.
  4. Manage program logistics and facilities across all program sites, ensuring adequate resources and spaces are available to accomplish the mission.
  5. Collaborate with program site leadership across all program locations to ensure open communications and unity of effort.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 10 years, or master’s degree and 8 years’ experience supporting U.S. Government contracts and customers and/or program management in other industries
  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI Access at time of application
  • Experience with customer and stakeholder relationship management
  • Proven presentation/briefing development experience
  • Organization and execution of tasks and projects experience
  • Problem solving skills of technical, organizational, and personnel issues

Nice to have

  • Strong knowledge of the Navy and Marine Corps, their elements and associated tactical systems.
  • Experience delivering products and services on Marine and Navy programs in accordance with quality and technical integrity standards.
  • Understanding strategic vision for best utilization of JIRA to manage team’s effort to include tracking metrics and performance.
  • Track record as an effective collaborator, communicator and problem solver who can develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience developing capabilities to build diverse and inclusive teams with high levels of engagement, including mentoring and coaching.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Broad skill set that is balanced between interpersonal, business, and technical capabilities.
  • Understanding of software technologies, software principles, and systems engineering, particularly an understanding of agile software modernization strategies.
  • Experience building a high performing team and facilitating conflict resolution within the team.
