Program Manager 2 role at Northrop Grumman, supporting the Aerospace Structures Business Unit. Responsibilities include managing cost, schedule, and technical performance of contracts, acting as the primary customer interface, establishing and managing milestones, identifying program risks and opportunities, and directing the work of assigned employees. Requires experience managing diverse technical teams, navigating internal processes, communicating with customers, and excelling in program management fundamentals. Experience with composite materials, large-scale assembly, and Earned Value Management (EVM) is necessary. A Secret clearance and SAP clearance are required.

What you'd actually do

  1. manage the cost, schedule and technical performance of contract(s) and lead shaping program requirements for follow-on efforts.
  2. Act as primary customer interface for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
  3. Establishes and manages milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program risks and opportunities, and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.
  4. Directs and manages the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, operations and administrative.
  5. Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion.
