Manager, Programs Level 2 for the F-22 CNI Portfolio of Programs, responsible for delivering contractual requirements on cost and schedule, managing the full program life cycle, and cultivating customer relationships. Requires a STEM Bachelor's degree, experience with US Government contracts, and a Secret clearance.

What you'd actually do

  1. The primary responsibility will be the delivery of all contractual requirements on cost and schedule, while achieving all technical requirements and creating customer intimacy to support value creation strategies and actions.
  2. Program Managers are responsible for managing all phases of the program life cycle from inception (proposal development) through startup, execution, and completion (contract closeout).
  3. Primary responsibilities are the management of cost, schedule, and technical performance of company programs or subsystems and include, but are not limited to:
  4. Cultivating customer relationships and intimacy to develop further opportunities within the customer community
  5. Developing new business opportunities through long term strategic planning, capture planning, and development of proposals and business plans

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 8 years of relevant professional experience, or a Master’s in a STEM field, or 5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Experience supporting U.S. Government contracts, customers, and/or technology or Research & Development (R&D) programs
  • Demonstrated experience serving as a Technical Lead, Task Lead, or Project Lead, with responsibility for delivering scope on schedule, managing cost or budget tracking, and meeting documented technical requirements
  • Demonstrated experience leading and delivering program tasks on schedule, within cost baseline, and meeting defined technical and contractual requirements in a project lead, IPT lead or CAM capacity
  • Demonstrated experience applying program management tools and processes such as Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Risk and Opportunity Management, Scope control or change management boards
  • Demonstrated experience executing development or engineering contracts, including delivery of contractual milestones and program deliverables
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating across functional areas (e.g. engineering, program management, supply chain, quality, test)
  • US Citizenship required
  • A current/active U.S. Government Secret clearance required

Nice to have

  • Active U.S. Top Secret clearance
  • Broad technical background across multiple engineering disciplines and applications (a Technical Generalist)
  • Demonstrated experience supporting proposal development and/or business development activities
