Manager for Risk Management team in Northrop Grumman's Aeronautics Systems division, located in Melbourne, Florida. Responsible for implementing RIO (Risks, Issues, and Opportunity) management processes, mitigation execution, and training administration. Integrates RIO across multiple operating units and programs, adjudicates conflicts, and guides the RIO process throughout its lifecycle. Interfaces with Program Management, IPT Leaders, functional leaders, and Chief Engineering Office. Owns quality and validity of RIOs, performs independent assessments of technical, cost, and schedule impacts, and works with risk owners to meet mitigation commitments. Provides horizontal and vertical integration of RIO SOW, monitors and reports RIO performance, and ensures adherence to risk management processes. Executes proactive risk identification, verifies compliance with corporate/sector procedures, and supports audits. Maintains RIO management plans, manages RIO toolsets, develops and delivers RIO training, and acts as the primary contact for RIO activities. Leads development of tools for monitoring RIO health, represents leadership at enterprise boards for tool updates, and leads monthly review boards. Serves as a thought leader for RIO activities. Requires a Bachelor's degree and 10 years of related experience (or equivalent), including project/program management, engineering, capture, or business management. Experience with risk, issue, and opportunity development, program management principles, RIO metrics/briefings, and the Aerospace and Defense industry is required. Must be able to travel 10% and maintain a Secret clearance.
