Manager, Programs Level 3 to support the NT&S Program Execution team. Responsibilities include leading independent reviews, monitoring and analyzing trends in program performance, working with program teams to develop and implement corrective action plans, and planning data analytics and data visualization projects to aid in monitoring and improving program performance. The Program Execution PM will also assist in developing and implementing training for program managers across the Division and lead and participate in Division Digital Transformation projects. The Program Execution PM is responsible for monitoring and improving program performance across the NT&S Division, including a diverse set of program types, lifecycle phases and customers across all three business units and five locations.

What you'd actually do

  1. Cultivating customer relationships and intimacy to develop further opportunities within the customer community
  2. Developing new business opportunities through long term strategic planning, capture planning, and development of proposals and business plans
  3. Establishing a program organization that effectively addresses customer requirements and incorporates the necessary internal and external sub-organizations
  4. Leading and directing cross-functional Integrated Program Teams (IPT) to meet program cost, schedule and technical performance objectives
  5. Measuring and reporting program performance

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years, or Master’s and 6 years’ experience supporting U.S. Government contracts and customers and/or project management in other industries
  • 3-5 or more years of P&L experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost and achieving all requirements as either project lead, integrated program team or cost account manager
  • 5 or more years of demonstrated success leading teams/and or organizations to achieve a common goal
  • Demonstrated understanding of EVMS and Risk and Opportunity Management
  • Must possess an active Secret clearance and ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Demonstrated experience with establishing customer intimacy
  • Effective communication and presentation skills

Nice to have

  • Master’s Degree in Engineering a similar technical field, or Business Administration
  • 5+ years of Program Management experience for DoD / US government contracts
  • Data analytics/data visualization experience
  • Experience leading or working on agile projects and using agile EVMS
  • PMP Certification
  • Experience leading new product development and/or EMD programs
  • Current Top Secret Clearance
