Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Manager, Programs 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Autonomous Systems Program Office, supporting the Triton production organization. This leadership role will be based in our **Rancho Bernardo, CA **office.

The selected Program Manager will lead multiple production contracts with the Triton production portfolio. This leadership role will execute programs utilizing the Program Management Framework with responsibilities including managing the cost, schedule, and performance of existing contracts as well as leading proposal and baselining activity for future efforts.

In this role, the selected candidate will be expected to:

Management of program cost, schedule, performance, quality, and suppliers
Ensuring all contractual technical requirements are met
Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract
Responsible for ensuring program and procedural requirements are met in a timely and profitable manner, and within client satisfaction goals and objectives
Builds a collective understanding of program risks, issues, and opportunities and shapes collaborative solutions to maximize the performance of the organization
Provides leadership, management, guidance and oversight for matrixed personnel
Participates in the negotiating contracts and contract changes
Prepares and delivers presentations at program reviews with both internal and external customers
Maintain excellent communication skills while flowing information both up and out to leadership and down and in to the program
Develops metrics for monitoring the health of project progress and for intervention and problem solving with Senior IPT Leadership, Sub IPT Leads and Functional Homerooms
Leads teams in execution of the program by providing clear assignments and direction, maintaining close communication, and getting the team the support needed to succeed
Resolves issues in accordance with business objectives, strategies, legal requirements, regulations, contract terms, and company policies
Provide strategic vision for future program direction and growth
Manage across program areas and respective program managers within the Triton Enterprise

**Basic Qualifications: **

Bachelors degree and 10 years (or Bachelor of Science in STEM and 9 years) of related experience as defined below, OR a Master’s degree and 8 years (or Master of Science in STEM and 7 years) of related experience as defined below.
Related experience includes professional and/or military experience to include a background in project management, program management, engineering, manufacturing, capture efforts, and/or business management related functions.
Must have an active US Government Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled in continuous evaluation).
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance level.
Must be willing and able to travel

Preferred Qualifications

Program Management experience within the Aerospace and Defense industry
Experience managing engineering teams or production operation teams
Experience interfacing and managing suppliers
Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing environments, while maintaining consistently high customer relations, service and engagement.
Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
The ability to apply knowledge, insights and understanding of business and financial concepts, tools and processes to the benefit of program decisions, actions, and performance
The ability to identify and address program impacts through a systematic, proactive, approach to issue and problem resolution that identifies, communicates, monitors, and promptly resolves conflicts
The ability to address program uncertainty through an organized and analytical forward looking approach that identifies risks and opportunities, determines appropriate handling plans, and manages, controls, and communicates risks and opportunities

Primary Level Salary Range: $193,000.00 - $289,600.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
