Manager of Project Management 2 for Commercial and Engine Programs at Northrop Grumman, overseeing operational aspects of ongoing projects, serving as a liaison between customers and execution IPT, developing reviews, providing project status, defining project budgets, managing schedules, and developing status reports. Requires a Bachelor's degree and 8 years of related experience or a Master's degree and 6 years of experience in project management, program management, engineering, capture efforts, or business management. Must have thorough knowledge of program management for production programs, experience managing major programs with >$25M annual sales, experience with contract types, understanding of business/strategy development, knowledge of business systems (EVM, Risk/Opportunity, contract management), strong communication skills, experience with prime contractor procurement leadership, experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM), and the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Manages the customer IPT of the A350 program.
  2. Program Manager responsibilities include planning and program performance addressing cost, schedule, technical performance, and quality of NRE projects as awarded by the customers.
  3. Ensures that projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  4. Leads weekly customer telecoms and program reviews to meet customer and program needs.
  5. Provide overall leadership and direction to the internal functional team that includes resolving conflict, reviewing performance, and initiating process improvement and corrective actions when necessary.
