This role is for a Manager, Real Estate Activation and Change Management at Ford. The primary focus is on managing the company's real estate portfolio, modernizing workplaces, and leading change management initiatives to support the Ford+ transformation. The role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, establishing standards for workplace activation, and improving the user experience. It is not directly involved in AI/ML development or research.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead the synchronization of 21 functional real-estate workstreams and govern the operationalization of workplaces and supporting services in alignment with business needs and project vision.
  2. Establish and maintain standards, frameworks and time-bound plans to ensure consistent activation across the portfolio. In doing so, you'll anticipate and implement short- and long-term enhancements that will improve the user experience and support adoption of evolving workplace conditions.
  3. Apply human-centered methodologies to understand the visceral experience impacts of real estate-based change and lead the curation, delivery, and refinement change management resources that empower employees to successfully navigate challenges.
  4. Partner with real estate functions and skill teams identify opportunities and scale solutions that improve adoption and sponsorship of workplace behaviors, processes, resources and partnerships essential to maintaining a productive workplace culture.
  5. Embed continuous improvement in the Ford portfolio by establishing and governing a robust system of benchmarking, multi-channel feedback loops, and iterative problem-solving.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
  • 8+ years of professional experience with demonstrated leadership in some combination of portfolio management, design, project management, workplace experience, or change management
