This role is for a Manager of Real Estate & Facilities at an AI company. The responsibilities include strategic real estate management (lease negotiations, site selection, portfolio optimization) and facilities operations (vendor management, security, compliance, budget management). What you'd actually do

  1. Lead all lease negotiations, renewals, and terminations for our global portfolio
  2. Manage and optimize our relationship with JLL as our global brokerage partner
  3. Align headcount vs. office space strategy with FP&A and HR on budget parameters, ensuring offices are managed accordingly
  4. Conduct market analysis and site selection in conjunction with the Head of Procurement, HR and Leadership for new locations and expansions
  5. Negotiate contracts with vendors for cleaning, security, maintenance, and other facility services

Skills

Required

  • 8-10 years in combined real estate and facilities management
  • Demonstrated success managing relationships with global brokerage firms and vendors
  • Strong background in commercial lease negotiation and administration
  • Ability to link operational decisions to business strategy and growth objectives
  • Experience managing budgets in partnership with FP&A to ensure budget control and optimization

Nice to have

  • Experience managing real estate/facilities across multiple locations
  • CPM, CFM, or similar professional designations
  • Experience with FM software, lease management systems, and data analytics
