Manager, Revenue Recognition

Salesforce is seeking a Manager, Revenue Recognition to lead a team of Revenue Analysts in Mexico City. This role involves partnering with Sales, Legal, and other teams to ensure revenue recognition compliance, particularly for SaaS business models under ASC 606. The manager will also oversee contract review, SOX compliance, and continuous improvement of revenue recognition processes.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead and develop a team of 3 Revenue Analysts
  2. Serve as a trusted advisor for customer contract negotiations and perform contract review for revenue recognition compliance
  3. Ensure full alignment with the SSC team in India for 24-hour global coverage
  4. Work with Sales, Sales Operations, Pricing, and Legal during contract negotiations and provide suggestions and guidance in order to ensure proper revenue recognition
  5. Work with the global Revenue Recognition team and respective business partners to develop and maintain SOX Compliance

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent relevant experience
  • 3-5+ years relevant revenue recognition experience
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluent Spanish and English
  • Project Management skills

Nice to have

  • Primary audit and ASC 606 experience in SaaS/software industry
  • CPA strongly desired
  • Portuguese is strongly preferred
