Manager, Sales Development at DocuSign responsible for managing and motivating Enterprise Market Development Representatives (MDR) to achieve sales and opportunity generation quotas. The role involves coaching, performance monitoring, pipeline management, and developing sales strategies for new accounts in defined vertical markets and geographic territories. It requires collaboration with Marketing Demand Generation and mentoring MDRs on sales skills and business plans. The position is a people manager role.

What you'd actually do

  1. Grow Annual Contract Value (GNACV) in defined vertical markets and geographic territories from new SMB, Corporate, and Enterprise accounts
  2. Develop and complete sales processes and strategies and ensure compliance with internal data management and reporting, including use of Salesforce.com
  3. Assess sales activities and forecasts to determine sales progress and required improvements
  4. Recommend and implement improvements to achieve sales and opportunity creation goals
  5. Collaborate with the Marketing Demand Generation team to ensure effective follow-up on leads to generate sales opportunities

Skills

Required

  • 2+ years prior sales leadership experience in a position selling SaaS/Cloud Applications Software or B2B
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to identify new, creative ways to drive more SMB, Corporate, and Enterprise businesses to purchase and use Docusign’s diverse solution suite

Nice to have

  • Basic BA/BS in a business or a technical related field of study from an accredited college or university
