Manager, Sales Development

Workday is seeking a Manager, Sales Development to lead a high-performing team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs). This role involves recruiting, hiring, training, and mentoring SDRs to achieve quarterly objectives in pipeline generation and lead follow-up. The manager will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Sr. Leadership to implement outbound calling programs and support field marketing activities. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of Sales Development Leadership experience in SaaS, with a strong analytical and coaching background, and a proven ability to drive quality sales pipeline.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of professional experience (4 years)
  • 2+ years of Sales Development Leadership Experience in the Software/Technology (SaaS) space
  • 2 years prior experience in a closing role (e.g., Account Executive)
  • 2+ years of experience analyzing and converting data into actionable insights and developing successful sales prospecting execution plans
  • Ambitious, creative, self-driven, and highly analytical
  • Organized with excellent time management skills
  • Proven ability to coach and mentor
