Manager, Sales Strategy

Salesforce is seeking a Manager, Sales Strategy to partner with leadership on strategic planning, optimization, and business operational support. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive Go-To-Market planning, territory alignment, data quality, business planning, and performance reviews. The ideal candidate will have experience in consulting or sales strategy/business operations, strong quantitative analysis skills, and the ability to translate complex information into actionable insights.

What you'd actually do

  1. Orchestrate the design and implementation of all aspects of the Go-To-Market plan under the annual strategy planning cycle. This includes account segmentation, resource allocation, territory assignment, compensation, quota setting, etc.
  2. Define key performance metrics and targets, build reports and dashboards to derive insights into the health of the business, identify areas of weakness, and present improvement recommendations to leadership.
  3. Perform ad-hoc analyses across multiple data sets and tools (examples of analyses include customer segmentation, participation, propensity to buy, white space, etc.)
  4. Drive forecast management excellence to ensure sustained, predictable growth across all business units, coordinate weekly forecast calls to track status of sales pursuits.
  5. Create executive-level presentations for both local and global leadership reviews; organise quarterly business reviews.

Skills

Required

  • 5-7+ years of professional experience, ideally in consulting or sales strategy/business operations roles
  • Experience with quantitative analysis and financial modeling
  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required
