Salesforce is seeking a Manager, Sales Strategy to join their internal consulting arm for the sales organization. The role involves analyzing sales performance and market opportunities, setting strategic agendas, and presenting recommendations to senior leaders. Responsibilities include business planning, market segmentation, coverage optimization, and performance measurement, with deliverables such as analytic models, custom performance analysis, and executive presentations. The role requires strong financial modeling, Excel, and database analysis skills, project management experience, and fluency in both Japanese and English.

What you'd actually do

  1. Assist in developing and delivering presentations for senior executives
  2. Create and productize the analytics required to drive improvements in our partnership model
  3. Support ongoing analysis of business performance required to inform executive decisions on a daily basis
  4. Take ownership in managing several programs, operationally, in collaboration with relevant parties within Salesforce as well as with outside parties (marketing firms, data vendors, partners)
  5. Expand the analytical infrastructure with scalable reports and tools

  • Expert financial modeling and Excel skills

  • Degree from University degree, preferably in an analytical discipline such as engineering, computer science, economics, etc.
  • Work experience in consulting, finance, or product management is desired
  • Experience in building strategy of partnership or leading partnership within Strategy team is desired
  • Experience in enabling/training new employees and inexperienced members in analysis and reporting
  • Highly preferred : Experience running analysis using salesforce.com, Tableau CRM, or Tableau
  • Work experience in data extraction, data formatting, and big data analysis using SQL
