Uber Eats is seeking a Manager, Seller Development to lead and scale early-tenure sales talent within the Sales Development Team. This role focuses on coaching, enablement, and performance acceleration for new sales hires, ensuring they reach productivity benchmarks and are prepared for core sales roles. The manager will recruit, develop, and manage a team of Account Executives, partnering cross-functionally with Enablement, Recruiting, and Sales Ops to improve talent onboarding and development at scale.

What you'd actually do

  1. Recruit, onboard, and develop a team of early-tenure Account Executives within the Sales Development Team
  2. Serve as a player-coach, providing high-frequency, hands-on coaching to accelerate rep ramp and performance
  3. Establish clear performance expectations from Day 1, including activity, pipeline, and closed-won benchmarks
  4. Inspect and diagnose individual performance gaps, and implement targeted coaching plans to drive improvement
  5. Build a culture of accountability, resilience, and continuous development

Skills

Required

  • 4+ years of full-cycle sales experience
  • Demonstrated ability to train, coach, and ramp early-career sales talent
  • Strong operational rigor with experience managing activity metrics, pipeline health, and performance tracking
  • Excellent communication skills with high emotional intelligence and ability to deliver direct, actionable feedback
  • Proven ability to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with strong judgment and decision-making

Nice to have

  • Sales management experience with a proven track record of developing and coaching high-performing teams
  • Experience leading onboarding, ramp, or training-focused sales teams (or equivalent coaching/development experience)
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration experience (Enablement, Recruiting, Sales Ops, etc.)
  • Track record of improving team performance through structured coaching and process implementation
  • Experience managing both inside and outside sales motions
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and sales performance dashboards
  • Passion for developing talent and building scalable systems for long-term organizational success
