Manager- Servicenow Solution Architect

Johnson & Johnson Johnson & Johnson · Pharma · Raritan, NJ +1

Manager-level ServiceNow Solution Architect at Johnson & Johnson, responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure solutions within their enterprise ServiceNow platform. The role emphasizes technical judgment, platform sustainability, and hands-on solution quality in a large-scale, highly governed environment, with a focus on configuration over customization and supporting upgrade readiness. Collaboration with platform leadership on GenAI initiatives is also mentioned.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own architectural design and configuration decisions for a specific ServiceNow domain, from requirements through production support.
  2. Translate business needs into scalable ServiceNow solutions that align with enterprise standards and long‑term platform strategy.
  3. Design and implement solutions using appropriate platform constructs (configuration first, customization only when justified).
  4. Apply disciplined use of Business Rules and Script Includes, favoring reuse, encapsulation, and maintainable server‑side logic over ad‑hoc scripting.
  5. Design and maintain ACLs appropriate for a large enterprise environment, including role/group strategy, least‑privilege access, performance considerations, and audit readiness.
