What you'd actually do

  1. Lead and develop a team of software engineers delivering services and applications within the product stack
  2. Translate business and product strategy into clear technical plans, milestones, and delivery commitments
  3. Drive engineering execution: planning, estimation, prioritization, and day-to-day delivery management
  4. Establish and evolve development practices, tooling, and technical standards (e.g., design reviews, coding standards, testing, release management)
  5. Ensure adherence to the product development process and software lifecycle practices, including quality, security, and reliability requirements

Skills

Required

  • 8+ years related experience
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • Software engineering experience
  • Experience leading teams as a manager or technical lead
  • Proven project/program execution skills: prioritization, dependency management, and delivery in time-bound environments
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex topics clearly to varied audiences
  • Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and motivate engineers

Nice to have

  • Proficiency in C# or Java
  • Experience with cloud-native deployment and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience designing, building, or operating RESTful and gRPC services
  • Strong CI/CD experience, including automated testing (unit/integration), quality gates, and release pipelines
  • Comfort moving across technology stacks and collaborating with multiple engineering disciplines
